ClearView (requires no special RAM or Video cards) has added RC Cars to their Sim. I aggressively show how the cars work! I have purchased sims over the years and I’ve got most of them too. I even worked for RealFlight. For value, the graphics are good, & flight physics are very real! This is a good training aid and tool to teach orientation and coordination for less $ and Cars are a BLAST! The Graphics are great in the latest version. You can download it for free to try it out and see if it …

If you are looking for a awesome rc car in the internet i would say go ahead and buy a drift type

  2. jackuserjack

i dont think they will have rc trains next, maybe boats.

  3. xboredofbordemx

the only thing thats not very good are the jumps i cant figure out what wrong with them tho

ClearView works with any controller that shows in Windows Game Controllers – it you have the Tx, you will need usb cable – they are about $8 online. See ClearView controllers page for links.

For the money, Clearview is a real value. As you said Dave, it works well on every computer I have and you buy it once with free upgrades for life. No need to worry about buying v4, 4.5, 5 and etc.

The latest version has a noticeably improved flight model and I like it a lot.

Keep up the great work. Love your videos.

I have that sim but could never get my controller to work right with it and I have tried 3 different controllers cus I have all the adapters and wanted to make the most of them

1:22 your flying at my actually local runway. its a 1 minute drive from my house. think i can see it. lol

CONTINUED and i know wha a physics engine is, its basically how the model flies and reacts with the environment, like drag, lift, speed etc. FMS is only different in that it has simpler graphics and less planes, THATS IT.

BTW i flew on Realflight 4.5 at my LHS today and i was able to fly all the planes in the model library as easy as those in FMS.

    Good day :)

listen, don get too wrked up over simulators, i dont know whether you like to fly rc planes, or simulate flying them at home on the computer, but simulators are there to teach begginers what each control stick does to the plane, throttle is on the right along with ailerons, and elevator and rudder on the left, thats about it for simulators, the rest is done out there on the field, looking at how other people fly, flying with soemone more experienced via buddy cable etc. CONTINUED BELOW.

What brand screen recorder do you use??

  11. hasm0ney

After using all three…I can fly expert in FMS and only limited advanced in the other two. FMS is a CHEAP shareware software…obviously you have no clue about that or what a physics engine really it. The physics are preset for each model, but an engine must drive it using the presets giving what type of input you are giving for control. FREE usually doesn’t include quality and FMS shows exactly that. The parkzone suhkoi is garbage compared to real life. So is the extra 300. I have both

  12. Vik13vik

Hey Dave! Do you have any of the Micro Losi RTR cars? They are fun and not too expensive.

  13. 1stpimpking

f.y.i. you cant drive the cars on the demo and you get 2 planes and like 5 helis on demo and one background and you only get 1000mins on it trust me

  16. XYZslayer

I Love the Raptor 90, Fury, and Trex 500 helis the best. F-16 and Edge models for the planes. can’t wait to download the newest update onto my own computer.

  17. NightFlyyer

Aha. Good. Now I know what you mean. Thanks for that.

  18. svksys

@lonstar70 Since ver. 4.10 there is chase mode for 3d landscapes. To get to that mode, load one of the car track landscapes, select “Settings” then “Camera Setup” and select “Follow Up” camera mode.

  19. angrygunsmith

FMS is so adaptable. The physics engine for each plane is different. so if youre downloading a good quality plane model, then the physics model will essentially be similar to that of higher priced simulators.

  23. NightFlyyer

Most Transmitters will work with this, plus you can use the keyboard for the cars too. Thanks for the kind words.

  24. NightFlyyer

Thanks. You got me started on this and thanks for that too. You can upgrade to this free, as you probably know.

  25. ramis182

nice video mr. herbert. look slike a really really nice simulator. Do you have to use you own transmitter or does it come with one. thats pretty cool how you can practice on cars helis and planes, anyway nice vid as usual.
